The project manager of ACI Sail Ivan Kljaković Gašpić is one of the best Croatian sailors. Bambi, as he is known in the world of sailing – a nickname he was given as a boy – is a multiple European champion and world vice-champion in the Finn class, who took part in three Olympic Games (Beijing 2008, London 2012 and Rio de Janeiro 2016). In addition to his remarkable performances in the Finn class races, Ivan was a member of the Green Comm Racing team, taking part in the America’s Cup campaign; he also sailed on the Esimit Europa 2, one of the fastest sailing boats in the world, and was the first Croatian sailor to compete in a Star Sailors League final. Following his career in the Olympic class, Ivan decided not to give up on sailing and therefore coming to ACI was the next logical step.
