Sailing from ACI Skradin to ACI Piškera, we are connecting the breathtaking national parks of Krka and Kornati, the beauty of Šibenik’s stone fortresses and the charming islands in the Šibenik archipelago

In the fast-paced life of today, boating becomes a refuge, an escape from noise and stress. On a boat’s deck, a person does not look at the sea, but blends with it – becoming one with the vast blue expanse. The coast of Croatia, lined with thousands of islands and hidden coves, offers a perfect refuge, where the lost feeling of belonging, peace and freedom is found again in the silence of the waves and the fragrance of the salt.

Among these gems, the Šibenik archipelago symbolically represents the central point of the Adriatic Sea – its navel, where the past and present, tranquillity and adventure are intertwined. With as many as five marinas in the Šibenik area, ACI offers boaters a safe haven and a top-notch service, creating a perfect combination of comfort and an authentic experience of the Adriatic.

From Skradin, where the Krka River touches the sea, to Vodice, a vibrant centre of nautical life, to peaceful Jezera and all the way to the wild beauty of Žut and Piškera, ACI marinas invites boaters to surrender completely to the charm of sailing and explore the hidden corners of the Šibenik archipelago.

Our trip from the Krka to Kornati starts in the picturesque Skradin, situated at the very threshold of the Krka National Park, where the Krka River gently touches the sea. Permeated with a rich historical heritage and untouched nature, the town was an important transport hub and trade centre for centuries. This area was settled in the ancient times of the Illyrians, and, called Scardona, the town was an administrative, transport and trade centre in the Roman province of Dalmatia.

ACI Marina Skradin is one of the most visited transit marinas in the Adriatic, and its magic vibe and an extensive range of services attract many boaters, who enjoy delicious food – such as the world-famous Skradin risotto – and fine wines in this extraordinary setting. Many celebrities, like Bill Gates and Michael Jordan have been enchanted by the heavenly charm and beauty of Skradin.

Skradin is an ideal starting point for the exploration of the Krka National Park, one of Croatia’s most beautiful natural gems. With its seven travertine waterfalls, crystal clear lakes and lush vegetation, the Krka offers an unforgettable experience for all nature enthusiasts. What especially stands out are Skradinski Buk, the biggest and the most famous waterfall on the Krka River, and Roški Slap, an impressive giant waterfall consisting of a series of cascades and rapids.
